  1. 1. 3D property rights : an analysis of key factors based on international experience

    Author : Jenny Paulsson; Hans Mattsson; Jaap Zevenbergen; KTH; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; 3D property; property rights; condominium; apartment ownership; flat ownership; strata title; stratum; LAW JURISPRUDENCE; RÄTTSVETENSKAP JURIDIK;

    Abstract : The objectives of this thesis are to establish the fundamental principles in the field of 3D property rights by studying such systems in different countries with a particular focus on management questions, to systemize the acquired knowledge and demonstrate different ways of dealing with key factors essential to a well-functioning 3D property rights system. A theoretical background to the 3D property concept is given by presenting proposals as to a definition of 3D property and a classification of the primary forms of 3D property rights examined into specific types and categories, as well as an overview of international 3D property use. 2. 2. Analysis of Deformation of Gas Diffusion Layers and the Impact on Performance of PEM Fuel Cells

    Author : Jiatang Wang; Värmeöverföring; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; PEM fuel cell; compression ratio; assembly pressure; porosity; deformed GDL; electric resistance; transport phenomena; model; performance; analysis; OpenFOAM;

    Abstract : Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells have been promoted due to significant breakthroughs in various aspects and increasing public interests. The porous features of the gas diffusion layer (GDL) and the necessary assembly processes generate localized pressure forces on the channel/shoulder structure of the bi-polar plates (BPP). READ MORE

  3. 3. Testing and analysis of composites with 3D woven reinforcement

    Author : Tomas Ekermann; Malin Åkermo; Stefan Hallström; Lars Pilgaard Mikkelsen; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 3D weave; finite element; manufacturing; yarn path; weaving; failure criteria; mechanical testing; 3D väv; finita element; tillverkning; trådbanor; vävning; brottkriterier; mekanisk provning; Farkostteknik; Vehicle and Maritime Engineering;

    Abstract : Composites with three-dimensional (3D) reinforcement have several benefits, compared to laminated composites. Their through-thickness reinforcement increase the out-of-plane properties significantly and could eliminate problems with delaminations. Also, these composites have proven to have great damage tolerance and energy absorption. READ MORE

  4. 4. The Integration of 3D Geodata and BIM Data in 3D City Models and 3D Cadastre

    Author : Jing Sun; Kent Eriksson; Anders Östman; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 3D geodata; BIM; city models; 3D cadastre; geometric quality; CityGML; LADM; laser scanning; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik; Geodesi; Geodesy;

    Abstract : The initial geographic information system (GIS) and building information modelling (BIM) are designed and developed independently in order to serve different purposes and use. Within the prolific increase and growing maturity of three-dimensional (3D) technology, both 3D geodata and BIM data can specify semantic data and model 3D buildings that are prominent for the 3D city models and 3D cadastre.
