    Abstract : Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common behavioural disturbances in school children. The aims of this thesis were to explore the association of ADHD with recurrent health complaints and bullying behaviour in children in grade four, and to evaluate whether it is possible to predict ADHD in grade four by screening before or at school entry.     Abstract : BACKGROUND Gallstones are common in many countries, but few patients develop severe complications. Fatal complications are rare and affect chiefly the very old.     Abstract : Ciliate diversity and seasonal succession were studied during two years in oligotrophic,acidic Lake Njupfatet. Maximum ciliate abundance occurred shortly after ice-out. After thefirst year, the lake was neutralised by liming. Liming caused changes in the bacterioplanktonand phytoplankton communities, but no change in ciliate diversity. READ MORE
