    Abstract : In this thesis we have performed core-electron spectroscopy studies of gas phase molecular systems starting with smaller diatomic, continuing with triatomic and extending our research to more complex polyatomic ones. We can subdivide the results presented here into two categories: the first one focusing on electronic fine structure and effect of the chemical bonds on molecular core-levels and the other one dealing with nuclear dynamics induced by creation of a core hole. 3. 23. Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry for Speciation Analysis : Development and Applications

    Author : Niklas Forsgard; Jean Pettersson; Marit Andersson; Jonas Bergquist; Walter Lund; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : Analytical chemistry; Speciation analysis; Atomic emission spectrometry AES ; Mass spectrometry MS ; Inductively coupled plasma ICP ; Liquid Chromatography LC ; on-line sample pre-treatment; Organic phosphour; Siderophores; Slurry nebulization; matrix effects; Analytisk kemi;

    Abstract : In analytical chemistry the main goal is normally to determine the identity and/or concentration of one or more species in a sample. The samples analyzed are often natural samples, containing numerous different species in a complex matrix and the choice of technique for multi-elemental detection is in general inductively coupled plasma spectrometry. 5. 25. Deep Learning Side-Channel Attacks on Advanced Encryption Standard

    Author : Huanyu Wang; Elena Dubrova; Mark Smith; Francesco Regazzoni; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Side-channel attack; Deep learning; Advanced Encryption Standard; Hardware security; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Abstract : Side-channel attacks (SCAs) have become one of the most realistic threats to implementations of cryptographic algorithms. By exploiting the nonprime, unintentional physical leakage, such as different amount of power consumed by the device during the execution of the cryptographic algorithm, SCAs are able to bypass the theoretical strength of cryptography and extract the secret key.
