6. Low Power and Low complexity Constant Multiplication using Serial Arithmetic
Abstract : The main issue in this thesis is to minimize the energy consumption per operation for the arithmetic parts of DSP circuits, such as digital filters. More specific, the focus is on single- and multiple-constant multiplication using serial arithmetic. The possibility to reduce the complexity and energy consumption is investigated. READ MORE

8. The Message of a Mitsvah: The Mezuzah in Rabbinic Literature
Abstract : The present study deals with different aspects of the mitsvat mezuzah in Rabbinic literature from the first to the sixteenth centuries, with some emphasis on the medieval sources. Through a charting of statements regarding the mezuzah as an object, and the mitsvat mezuzah and its fulfilment, an overview is given of the development of the mezuzah and the perception of it. 9. Low Power and Low Complexity Shift-and-Add Based Computations
Abstract : The main issue in this thesis is to minimize the energy consumption per operation for the arithmetic parts of DSP circuits, such as digital filters. More specific, the focus is on single- and multiple-constant multiplications, which are realized using shift-and-add based computations. The possibilities to reduce the complexity, i.e. READ MORE

10. Quantum Chemical Studies of Radical Cation Rearrangement, Radical Carbonylation, and Homolytic Substitution Reactions
Abstract : Quantum chemical calculations have been performed to investigate radical cation rearrangement, radical carbonylation, and homolytic substitution reactions of organic molecules. The rearrangement of the bicyclopropylidiene radical cation to the tetramethyleneethane radical cation is predicted to proceed with stepwise disrotatory opening of the two rings. READ MORE
