1. Performance-based design of ventilation systems. Potential and limitations regarding indoor air quality
Abstract : It has been increasingly common to design for increased ventilation rates above legislative requirements specified in building codes and other norms as the most optimum way to improve indoor air quality. However, this concept has recently been challenged, for example, by studies demonstrating that the emissions or pollution from used traditional particle filters increases proportionally with air flow through the filter. 2. Energy Efficient Air Quality Solutions for Vehicle Cabins
Abstract : Maintaining a good air quality level is essential for reducing potential health risks for human beings. Vehicle cabin is one common environment where people spend increasing amount of time in modern societies. It’s an environment challenged by elevated pollutants from surrounding traffics, especially small particles like PM2. READ MORE

3. AIR CLASSIFICATION OF FINE AGGREGATES
Abstract : Aggregates are defined as particles of rock which in combination are used as a civil engineering material. It is used in bounded form in asphalt and concrete. Historically natural sand has been used as fine aggregates for concrete production in Sweden. READ MORE

4. On Premixed Gas Fuelled Stirling Engine Combustors with Combustion Gas Recirculation
Abstract : The main objective in the research described in this thesis was to design and test the use of lean premixed combustion using combustion gas recirculation for gas fuelled Stirling engine combustors. A system using a flame-arrester type of flame-holder to stabilize the flame and an ejector system for the recirculation of combustion gas was designed and tested in the laboratory. READ MORE

5. Thermodynamic aspects and heat transfer characteristics of HiTAC furnaces with regenerators
Abstract : Oxygen-diluted Combustion (OdC) technology has evolved from the concept of Excess Enthalpy Combustion and is characterized by reactants of low oxygen concentration and high temperature. Recent advances in this technology have demonstrated significant energy savings, high and uniform thermal field, low pollution, and the possibility for downsizing the equipment for a range of furnace applications.
