6. Surface chemical studies on feldspar/quartz system using alkylamines and mixed (cationic/anionic/non-ionic) collectors : adsorption mechanisms and flotation selectivity
Abstract : The mechanism of adsorption of long chain alkyl primary amines and, co-adsorption of amines and alcohols on quartz were studied using FTIR (DRIFT and IRRAS) and XPS spectroscopy methods. The spectroscopy data were correlated with zeta-potential and Hallimond flotation results. READ MORE

7. Structural evolution of two ore-bearing Palaeoproterozoic metasupracrustal belts in the Kiruna area, Northwestern Fennoscandian Shield
Abstract : In this project, two key study areas in the northwestern Fennoscandian Shield are under investigation. The “Western supracrustal belt” and “Central Kiruna area” are both located along lithotectonically comparable Rhyacian-Orosirian metasupracrustal belts and both areas are characterized by iron oxide-apatite (IOA) and iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG)-style mineralizations and related hydrothermal alterations. 8. The Tjårrojåkka apatite-iron and Cu (-Au) deposits, northern Sweden : products of one ore forming event
Abstract : The Tjårrojåkka area is located about 50 km WSW of Kiruna, northern Sweden, and hosts one of the best examples of spatially related apatite-iron (Kiruna type) and Cu (-Au) deposits in Sweden. The results from this project show that the two deposits are genetically related and indicate the presence of a younger, previously unknown, 1780 Ma generation of apatite- iron ores in northern Sweden. 9. Disturbance of Pb, Sr, and Nd isotope systems related to medium and low grade metamorphism illustrated with data from the polymetamorphic Early Proterozoic (Rombak) - Sjangeli basement window of the Caledonides of Northern Sweden
Abstract : The Sjangeli supracrustal belt forms the easternmost belt of a series approximately N-S striking, steeply dipping Early Proterozoic belts of the Rombak-Sjangeli basement window, which formed in an island arc setting. The volcanic units of the Sjangeli area consist of metatuffs, which contain abundant Cu-mineralizations, metalava flows and pillowed metalavas and are intercalated with banded carbonatesilicate rocks and micaschists, which contain various amounts of volcanic material. 10. Origin and composition of the Hällefors composite dyke, central Sweden
Abstract : The Hällefors dyke is a large, wedge-shaped high-level intrusion that trends E-W and has a subvertical dip, the overall dimensions being about 42 km in length and 1 km in width. It was emplaced ca 1550 Ma ago in gneisses of the Svecokarelian (1950-1750 Ma) orogenic belt in south central Sweden. READ MORE
