  1. 1. Towards a Framework for Relational-Oriented Management of Information Systems Outsourcing : Key Conditions Connected to Actors, Relationships and Process

    Author : Linda Bergkvist; Anders G. Nilsson; Marie-Therese Christiansson; Björn Johansson; Helena Holmström Olsson; Karlstads universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Information Systems; IS; outsourcing; key conditions; client–supplier relationship; process; actors; success; information systems development; conceptual framework; management; Information Systems; Informatik;

    Abstract : Currently, client and supplier firms are struggling with how they can make their information systems (IS) outsourcing engagements more valuable. This research points to the importance of successful practice and outcome in IS outsourcing for achieving engagements of value. READ MORE

  2. 2. Reiterated homogenization and G-convergence for some sequences of monotone operators

    Author : Marianne Olsson; Mårten Gulliksson; Anders Holmbom; Nils Svanstedt; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Homogenization; G-convergence; Multiple scales; Monotone operators; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Abstract : In this thesis, the main focus is on G-convergence and homogenization of monotone parabolic equations with multiple scales. This kind of equation is examined with respect to existence and uniqueness of the solution, in view of the properties of some monotone operators. READ MORE

  3. 3. G-Convergence and Homogenization of some Monotone Operators

    Author : Marianne Olsson; Anders Holmbom; Nils Svanstedt; Mårten Gulliksson; Jan Françu; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; G-convergence; homogenization; two-scale convergence; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Abstract : In this thesis we investigate some partial differential equations with respect to G-convergence and homogenization. We study a few monotone parabolic equations that contain periodic oscillations on several scales, and also some linear elliptic and parabolic problems where there are no periodicity assumptions. 4. 4. Valve-less diffuser micropumps

    Author : Anders Olsson; KTH; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Today there is growing interest in research on microfluidicsystems, e.g., for chemical analysis systems and microdosagesystems. One of the basic components in microfluidic systems ismicropumps. READ MORE

  5. 5. On modelling of postglacial gravity change

    Author : Per-Anders Olsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; accurate predictions of the gravity change are important for e.g. reductions of geodetic observations to a reference epoch. During the last decade; Glacial isostatic adjustment GIA is the Earth s response to glacial-induced load variations on its surface. This phenomenon can today be observed in; contribute different and complemental information on the phenomenon. Knowledge of the gravitational component is important for understanding the underlying geodynamical processes. Further; such as vertical and horizontal deformation of the crust; efforts to observe the surface gravity change in Fennoscandia have been intensified and the observational accuracy successively improved. This offers new possibilities at the same time as it puts new demands on modelling. The purpose of this thesis is to study some aspects of the modelling of GIA-induced gravity change; North America and Fennoscandia. Different observables; relative sea level change and disturbances in the gravity field; for example;

    Abstract : Glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA) is the Earth's response to glacial-induced load variations on its surface. This phenomenon can today be observed in, for example, North America and Fennoscandia. READ MORE
