1. Modelling flow with free and rough surfaces in the vicinity of hydropower plants
Abstract : Flow with free and rough surfaces near hydropower stations is of interest for both engineering and environmental applications. Here, Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations of free surface flow and flow over rough surfaces in regulated rivers were performed in applications such fish migration, spillway design and flow over rough surfaces as in hydropower tunnels or natural channels. 2. Simulations and measurements of free surface flow in regulated rivers
Abstract : Open channel flow near hydropower stations is of interest for both engineering and environmental applications. In this research project Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations of free surface flow in regulated rivers were applied with both fish migration and validation of numerical simulations in focus. 3. Design and Synthesis of Angiotensin IV Peptidomimetics Targeting the Insulin-Regulated Aminopeptidase (IRAP)
Abstract : Peptidomimetics derived from the bioactive hexapeptide angiotensin IV (Ang IV, Val1-Tyr2-Ile3-His4-Pro5-Phe6) have been designed and synthesized. These peptidomimetics are aimed at inhibiting the insulin-regulated amino peptidase (IRAP), also known as the AT4 receptor. READ MORE

4. Causes and Labor Market Consequences of Producer Heterogeneity
Abstract : Essay I studies establishment-level employment changes in the Swedish Manufacturing sector over the 1972-96 period. The results show that modest changes in the aggregated employment record have been the resulting sum of rather large gross flows of jobs and that this constant reshuffling of jobs has important implications for the workforce and is closely related to process of economic growth. 5. Field Measurements and Predictions of River Flow, Sediment Transport and Morphological Changes
Abstract : In an alluvial lowland river, sediment is transported in the form of suspended and bed loads. The fluvial process is the macroscopic view and long-term consequence of sediment movement. READ MORE
