    Abstract : Concrete is the second most used material in the world just after water. A drawback is that it is mostly based on Portland cement, which has an extremely high carbon footprint reaching a staggering 900 kg/tonne.     Abstract : In my thesis, the cell cycle analysis of archaea and hyperthermophilic organisms is presented for the first time. Crenarchaea from the genus Sulfolobus were used as a model system.
