  1. 1. Exploring the species boundaries in terrestrial clitellates (Annelida: Clitellata)

    University dissertation from Göteborg

    Author : Svante Martinsson; Göteborgs universitet.; Gothenburg University.; [2016]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Oligochaeta; species delimitation; Clitellata; Annelida; DNA-barcoding; cryptic species; Enchytraeidae; Lumbricidae; Naididae;

    Abstract : The biological diversity in the soil is much higher than most people can imagine, and a very important group of animals living there are earthworms and other clitellate worms. It has been found that several clitellate morphospecies are in fact complexes of so called cryptic species, and the number of species in this group may be much higher than previously believed. 2. 2. Early Palaeozoic jawed polychaetes with focus on polychaetaspids and ramphoprionids from the Silurian of Gotland, Sweden

    University dissertation from Department of Geology, Lund University

    Author : Mats Eriksson; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2000]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fysisk geografi; Geologi; physical geography; Geology; chemistry; palaeobiogeography; palaeoecology; taxonomy; apparatus reconstructions; Silurian; Recent; Ordovician; early Palaeozoic; scolecodonts; Annelida; polychaeta;

    Abstract : Popular Abstract in Swedish Käkförsedda havsborstmaskar (polychaeter) var artrika och vanliga i de tidigpaleozoiska haven. Maskarnas käkar, benämda scolecodonter i den vetenskapliga litteraturen, är mycket vanliga mikrofossil i sedimentära bergarter, främst kalkstenar av denna ålder. READ MORE

  3. 3. Systematics of Marionina (Annelida: Clitellata: Enchytraeidae)

    University dissertation from Department of Geology, Lund University

    Author : Lisa Matamoros; Göteborgs universitet.; Gothenburg University.; [2011]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Marionina; Michaelsena; Enchytronia; Enchytraeidae; cryptic species; molecular phylogeny; taxonomy; systematics; genetic diversity;

    Abstract : This thesis is about species of segmented worms that previously were placed in the genus Marionina Michaelsen, 1890, within the family Enchytraeidae, class Clitellata and phylum Annelida. These species are closely related to earthworms, but are much smaller and many of them are found between the sand grains in marine beaches. READ MORE

  4. 4. Evolutionary Perspectives on Naidinae (Annelida, Clitellata, Naididae): Molecular and Morphological Revelations

    Abstract : Naidinae is a group of tiny oligochaetous clitellates, common all over the world, primarily in freshwater. The taxon includes about 180 nominal species. READ MORE

  5. 5. Tubificids with trifid chaetae: morphology and phylogeny of Heterodrilus (Clitellata, Annelida)

    University dissertation from Stockholm : Zoologiska institutionen

    Author : Erica Sjölin; Stockholms universitet.; [2007]

    Abstract : Heterodrilus is a marine group of small (3-25 mm) clitellates that occur interstitially in sandy sediments from the intertidal zone down to about 150 m depths. The taxon includes 42 valid species and has been recorded from localities in the Mediterranean Sea, the North-west Atlantic Ocean (including the Caribbean), the Galapagos Islands, and the Indo-Pacific Region.
