1. Polyanalytic Bergman Kernels
Abstract : The thesis consists of three articles concerning reproducing kernels ofweighted spaces of polyanalytic functions on the complex plane. In the first paper, we study spaces of polyanalytic polynomials equipped with a Gaussianweight. In the remaining two papers, more general weight functions are considered. READ MORE

2. Hydrothermal Processing of Cereals Optimal Conditions for Phytete Degradation and Myo-Inositol Formation. Effect on Phytase Activity and Mineral Absorption
Abstract : The aim of this thesis was to optimise a hydrothermal process to degrade phytate (myo-inositol hexaphosphate), increase the level of free myo-inositol and preserve phytase activity in cereals with the purpose to achieve products with improved mineral bioavailability. Phytate is known to impair mineral absorption and myo-inositol is considered to be a semi-essential nutrient. READ MORE

3. Weighted Bergman kernels and biharmonic Green functions
Abstract : The main theme of this thesis is the connection between weighted biharmonic Green functions and weighted Bergman kernels. In the first paper, which is a joint work with H. Hedenmalm and S. Shimorin, we prove that weighted biharmonic Green functions are positive for weights which satisfy a mean-value condition and whose logarithms are subharmonic. READ MORE

4. Conformal Maps, Bergman Spaces, and Random Growth Models
Abstract : This thesis consists of an introduction and five research papers on topics related to conformal mapping, the Loewner equation and its applications, and Bergman-type spaces of holomorphic functions. The first two papers are devoted to the study of integral means of derivatives of conformal mappings. READ MORE

5. Reproducing kernels and potential theory for the Bergman spaces
Abstract : The role of weighted biharmonic Green functions in weighted Bergman spaces was first studied in the beginning of the 50's by Paul Garabedian. In 1951 he showed that they are closely related to reproducing kernel functions of weighted Bergman spaces. READ MORE
