Several human studies indicate that nasal administration of hydrophilic compounds, such as peptides, can bypass the blood-brain barrier.     Abstract : Bed filters using reactive materials are an emerging technology for on-site wastewater treatment. Chemical reactions transfer contaminants from the aqueous to the solid phase.
