  1. 1. Ultra-fast dynamics in atoms and molecules during photoionization: from attoseconds to femtoseconds

    Author : Erik Månsson; Synkrotronljusfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; photoelectron spectroscopy; momentum imaging; coincident detection; correlation; direct double ionization; Born–Oppenheimer approximation; high harmonics; synchrotron radiation; Fysicumarkivet A:2014:Månsson;

    Abstract : Treating the correlated behaviour of multiple particles is challenging for both theory and experiment. This thesis reports on a variety of experimental investigations aiming to advance the understanding of fundamental processes in atoms and molecules: double ionization, isomerization and dissociation. 2. 2. On the formation of small molecules by radiative association

    Author : Sergey V. Antipov; Göteborgs universitet; Göteborgs universitet; Gothenburg University; []
    Keywords : molecule formation; diatomics; radiative association; resonances; cross sections; rate coefficients;

    Abstract : This thesis is devoted to the theoretical investigation of radiative association, which is one of the processes contributing to formation of molecules in the interstellar medium. The formation of the CN, SiN, SiP and CO molecules through radiative association of the corresponding atoms in their ground electronic states is studied by the means of classical and quantum dynamical calculations.
