    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Medicine; ischaemic heart disease; women; cognitive-behavioural therapy; psychosocial risk factors; inflammation; leptin; haemostasis; fibrinolysis; insulin resistance; HRV; ischemic heart disease; cognitive behavioral therapy; heart rate variability; chd; cvd; cad; Medicin; Dermatology and venerology; clinical genetics; internal medicine; Dermatologi och venerologi; klinisk genetik; invärtesmedicin; medicin; Medicine;

    Abstract : Acute myocardial infarction (AMI), caused by ischaemic heart disease (IHD), is a leading cause of death in both men and women in the western society. Hypertension, diabetes, and smoking are examples of well-known risk factors of IHD, but also there are psychosocial factors, such as stress, vital exhaustion (unusual fatigue, irritability, and demoralization) and depression that have been associated with an increased risk in both genders. 2. 12. An Interactive Traction Motors Design and Selection Software

    Author : Hasan El Hinaoui-Hamze; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; CAD; Access; Electric Drives; Visual Basic; Internal Combustion Engines ICEs ; · Electric Motors EMs ; SQL; MATLAB; Hybrid Electric Vehicles HEVs ; Traction Motors; MagNet;

    Abstract : Use of electric motors in vehicle traction, in fact, predates the internal combustion engines (ICEs). Electric vehicles powered by dc motors were known as far back as 1890. Compared with vehicles powered by ICEs, the main drawback of the early electric vehicles was, and still is, their limited range and long recharging time. READ MORE

  3. 13. Planning of Environments for People with Physical Disabilities Using Computer Aided Design

    Author : Joakim Eriksson; Ergonomi och aerosolteknologi; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; manikin; Virtual Reality; CAD; computer aided design; 3D graphics; design tool; participatory planning; adaptation; Rehabilitation; disability; anthropometry; Technological sciences; magnetic resonance imaging; MRI; cervical spine kinematics; Teknik; biomechanics;

    Abstract : In the area of environment adaptations for people with physical disabilities, it is of vital importance that the design is optimized considering the human-environment interactions. All involved persons in such a planning process must be given sufficient support in understanding the information, so that everyone can participate actively. READ MORE
