    Abstract : This thesis is concerned with three language debates that reached their most crucial peaks in Sweden at the beginning of the twenty-first century: (i) the debate on the promotion of the Swedish language, (ii) the debate on language testing for citizenship, and (iii) the debate on mother tongue instruction. The main scope of the thesis is to take a theoretically multi-pronged approach to these debates trying to shed light on the following aspects: Why did such debates emerge when they did?     Abstract : The Congenital Dyserythropoietic Anemias (CDA) are rare hereditary hemolytic disorders with large bi- to multi-nucleated erythroblasts in the bone marrow.     Abstract : The purpose of the study is to analyse the relationship between the capitalist hegemonic order and the mass media, with the latter restricted to two elite newspapers (Swedish DN and Slovenian Delo) and the selection of news materials from three bodies of international media coverage: NATO’s military intervention in former Yugoslavia, 1999, the political demonstrations against the IMF and the World Bank in Prague, 2000, and 9/11, 2001.     Abstract : The aims of the present study were to delineate the pharmacokinetics, in plasma and leukaemia cells, of cladribine (M), and to describe factors influencing the outcome of administration of CdA in order to individualize and optimize treatment. CdA is a nucleoside analogue with a cytotoxic activity in low-grade lymphoproliferative disorders and childhood acute myelogenous leukaemia. READ MORE

    Abstract : A hereditary form of autosomal dominant congenital dyserythropoietic anaemiatype III (CDA III) has been reported in four families from Sweden, Argentina, Cuba and USA.
