1. Methylisothiazolinones. Diagnosis and prevention of allergic contact dermatitis
Abstract : Preservatives are biologically active substances which are required in water-based products/systems to prevent growth of micro-organisms. Kathon® CG (K-CG), one of several preservatives based on 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolinon-3-one (MCI) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MI) has been shown to be a common sensitizer in dermatitis patients. 2. Temporal and Wavelet Characteristics of Initial Breakdown and Narrow Bipolar Pulses of Lightning Flashes
Abstract : Temporal and wavelet characteristics of initial breakdown pulses are meticulously studied especially during the earliest moment of lightning events. Any possible features during the earliest moment that may exist which lead to either negative cloud-to-ground (CG), positive cloud-to-ground, cloud or isolated breakdown flashes in Sweden are investigated. 3. An adaptive finite element method for the compressible Euler equations
Abstract : This work develops a stabilized finite element method for the compressible Euler equations and proves an a posteriori error estimate for the approximated solution. The equations are approximated by the cG(1)cG(1) finite element method with continuous piecewise linear functions in space and time. READ MORE

4. Clinical Aspects on Chimney Stent Graft Technique in Endovascular Repair of the Aorta
Abstract : Introduction: Open repair of the aorta carries a high risk for morbidity and mortality especially in the elderly population and in patients unfit for major surgery. Endovascular aortic repair is safe, durable and effective when there is adequate proximal and distal sealing zone for the aortic stent graft. READ MORE

5. Immune Complex Regulated Cytokine Production in Rheumatic and Lymphoproliferative Diseases
Abstract : Immune complexes (ICs) are produced during normal immune responses and facilitate clearance of foreign antigens. ICs not efficiently cleared from the circulation can cause tissue damage. This might happen if ICs are formed with autoantibodies and autoantigens. READ MORE
