1. Deformation Behaviour, Microstructure and Texture Evolution of CP Ti Deformed at Elevated Temperatures
Abstract : In the present work, deformation behavior, texture and microstructure evolution of commercially pure titanium (CP Ti) are investigated by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) after compression tests at elevated temperatures. By analysing work hardening rate vs. flow stress, the deformation behaviour can be divided into three groups, viz. READ MORE

2. Structural Elements in Native Celluloses
Abstract : In this thesis, a schematic model for the structure ofaggregated cellulose I fibrils is proposed. The model consistsof a crystalline fibril core surrounded by less orderedcellulose forms. These cellulose forms are fibril surfacesaccessible to water, fibril surfaces inaccessible to water andpara-crystalline cellulose. READ MORE

3. Hip and Spine in Cerebral Palsy
Abstract : Abstract Background: Children with cerebral palsy (CP) have an increased risk of scoliosis, contractures including windswept hip deformity (WS), and hip dislocation. In 1994, a follow-up program and registry for children and adolescents with CP (CPUP) was initiated in Sweden to allow the early detection and prevention of hip dislocations and other musculoskeletal deformities. 4. Dipolar recoupling sequences in 13C and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance studies of mineral surfaces
Abstract : Solid state magic angle spinning (MAS) 31P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments, both cross polarization (CP) and dipole-dipole recoupling, were used as tools in the investigation of the reaction products at the surface of synthetic galena (PbS) mineral and O,O'-dialkyldithiophosphate potassium salts. Various dipole-dipole recoupling sequences have been tested on powder glycine-13C2 NMR and a polycrystalline powder sample of O,O'-diethyldithiophosphate2-Ni(II) to find one or several sequences suitable for the surface experiments. 5. Combined experimental and theoretical studies of dithiocarbamate complexes of yttrium, lanthanum and bismuth
Abstract : Metal-dithiocarbamate complexes find wide-ranging applications in nanomaterial and metalseparation science, and have potential use as chemotherapeutic, pesticides, and as additives tolubricants. A highly versatile dialkyldithiocarbamate (R2NCS2–) ligand can form stablecomplexes with all the transition elements and also the majority of main group, lanthanide andactinide elements. READ MORE
