6. Search for Dark Matter and Extra Dimensions in Monojet Final States with the ATLAS Experiment
Abstract : The CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the most powerful particle ac- celerator ever built, in terms of luminosity and center-of-mass energy of the collisions. This thesis presents a search for Dark Matter and Extra Dimen- sions in the proton-proton collisions as recorded by the ATLAS detector. READ MORE

7. Measurements of 2π0 and 3π0 Production in Proton-Proton Collisions at a Center of Mass Energy of 2.465 GeV
Abstract : Neutral two- and three-pion productions in proton-proton collisions at a center of mass energy of 2.465 GeV have been studied using the WASA detector and an internal pellet target at the CELSIUS storage ring in Uppsala. READ MORE

8. The PANDA electromagnetic calorimeter at photon energies below 100 MeV
Abstract : The PANDA experiment (antiproton annihilation at Darmstadt) is designed for studies of the strong force in the transition region between perturbative and non-perturbative quantum chromo dynamics (QCD). It will be built and placed at the high-energy storage ring, HESR, at FAIR (Facility for antiproton and ion research) in Darmstadt and start its first experiments in 2025. READ MORE

10. Development of the read-out link and control board for the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter Upgrade
Abstract : The Phase-II upgrade plan for the ATLAS Hadronic Tile Calorimeter facing the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) era includes approximately 1000 radiation tolerant read-out link and control boards (Daughterboards) that will provide full-granularity digital data to a fully-digital trigger system off-detector through multi-Gbps optic fibres. Different Daughterboard (DB) revisions have been developed, each successively aiming to meet the demanding HL-LHC requirements. READ MORE
