21. Chlorine Transport in a Small Catchment
Abstract : De senaste decenniernas forskning har påvisat att en omfattande bildning och nedbrytning av klororganiska föreningar sker i mark. Bildning av sådana föreningar sker genom att klorid binds in i organiskt material. READ MORE

22. Biomass Energy Systems and Resources in Tropical Tanzania
Abstract : Tanzania has a characteristic developing economy, which is dependent on agricultural productivity. About 90% of the total primary energy consumption of the country is from biomass. Since the biomass is mostly consumed at the household level in form of wood fuel, it is marginally contributing to the commercial energy supply. READ MORE

23. Copper and Manganese-based Oxygen Carriers in Chemical-Looping Combustion (CLC) and Chemical-Looping with Oxygen Uncoupling (CLOU)
Abstract : The chemical-looping combustion (CLC) and chemical-looping with oxygen uncoupling (CLOU) processes are attractive solutions for efficient combustion with inherent separation of carbon dioxide. These processes use a metal oxide as an oxygen carrier to transfer oxygen from an air to a fuel reactor where the fuel, or gasification products of the fuel, is converted. READ MORE

24. Volatile metabolites from microorganisms in indoor environments : sampling, analysis and identification
Abstract : Microorganisms are able to produce a wide variety of volatile organic compounds. This thesis deals with sampling, analysis and identification of such compounds, produced by microorganisms commonly found in buildings. READ MORE

25. A palaeolimnological study of the anthropogenic impact on dissolved organic carbon in South Swedish lakes
Abstract : During the past three decades, increases have been observed in dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations and colour in the surface waters of lakes and rivers in parts of Europe and North America, raising concern about the effects on the quality of aquatic environments with consequences for biodiversity, resource availability and recreational use. Various hypotheses have been put forward to explain the recent increases in DOC concentration and numerous studies have been published linking them to declining anthropogenic atmospherically deposited sulphur.
