1. Charge Sampling Circuits and A/D Converters - Theory and Experiments
Abstract : The analysis of general charge sampling technique is presented in this thesis. Charge sampling integrates input current instead of tracking input voltage to realize high speed and low voltage sampling. The analysis focuses on the performance of general charge sampling circuits for signal capture. READ MORE

2. Charge and proton dynamics in molecules and free clusters : from atomic to nanometer scale
Abstract : The origin of properties in complex systems can often be traced to mechanisms involving charge and energy transfer in only a few embedded molecules. The detailed study of the time evolution of these mechanisms in their original environment is a challenging task. READ MORE

3. High-Resolution Measurement of the 4He(g,n) Reaction in the Giant Resonance Region
Abstract : A comprehensive near-threshold 4He(g,n) absolute cross section measurement has been performed at the high-resolution tagged-photon facility MAX-lab located in Lund, Sweden. The 20 < Eg < 45 MeV tagged photons (covering the Giant Dipole Resonance energy region) were directed towards a liquid 4He target, and knocked-out neutrons were detected in a pair of 60 cm x 60 cm vetoed NE213A liquid scintillator arrays. 4. Structural and evolutionary studies of a lipocalin: the alpha1-microglobulin protein and its gene
Abstract : a1-microglobulin is a small glycoprotein present in plasma and in tissues surrounding the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts. a1-microglobulin is a member of the lipocalin protein family and exhibits several of the typical traits of a lipocalin; it binds an unknown ligand which causes the brown color of the protein, it forms complexes with various different proteins and there have been indications of the presence of a receptor for a1-microglobulin on T-lymphocytes.
