  1. 1. Chemically Synthesized ZnO Nanostructures : Realization of White Optoelectronic Devices with High CRI Values

    Author : Sadaf Jamil Rana; Magnus Willander; Omer Nur; Enda McGlynn; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Recently in a couple of decades, nanotechnology and nanoscience are becoming wide spread fields of research due to the revolutionary advances in the manufacturing processes which enable the realization of infinitesimally modest nanodevices holding a huge variety of fascinating properties and applications. Besides various functional materials, ZnO has captivated interests for a variety of applications in electronics and optoelectronics owing to its unique characteristics; such as, direct wide band gap, large exciton binding energy, semiconducting, photonic, and piezoelectric properties. 3. 3. Chemically Modified Metal Oxide Nanostructures Electrodes for Sensing and Energy Conversion

    Author : Sami Elhag; Omer Nour; Magnus Willander; Alberta Bonanni; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Metal oxide nanostructures; mixed metal oxide nano-compound; low temperature wet-chemical growth; chemically modified electrode; doping; surfactant; potentiometric sensor; chemical sensor and photo-electrochemical activity;

    Abstract : The goal of this thesis is the development of scalable, low cost synthesis of metal oxide nanostructures based electrodes and to correlate the chemical modifications with their energy conversion performance. Methods in energy conversion in this thesis have focused on two aspects; a potentiometric chemical sensor was used to determine the analytical concentration of some components of the analyte solution such as dopamine, glucose and glutamate molecules.
