6. Staging urban emergence through collective creativity: Devising an outdoor mobile augmented reality tool
Abstract : The unpredictability of global geopolitical conflicts, economic trends, and impacts of climate change, coupled with an increasing urban population, necessitates a more profound commitment to resilience thinking in urban planning and design. In contrast to top-down planning and designing for sustainability, allowing for emergence to take place seems to contribute to a capacity to better deal with this complex unpredictability, by allowing incremental changes through bottom-up, self-organized adaptation made by diverse actors in the proximity of various social, economical and functional entities in the urban context. 7. Probabilistic design for evaluation of indoor environment
Abstract : In recent years indoor environment and indoor air quality has been subjected to extensive worldwide research efforts. Still, at present there are a lack of methods for prediction of risks and consequences for any defined damage to occur, similar to the probabilistic methods used in modern design codes for structures and buildings. 8. Management of Sustainability in Construction Works
Abstract : The present global environmental condition is a consequence of the increasing consumption of natural resources whose depletion exceeds what is physically possible to sustain in the long term. The construction sector is a considerable contributor to this resource depletion and sustainability is adopted in the form of the theory of ecological modernization. READ MORE

10. The complexity and variability of individuals' activity-travel patterns in Indonesia
Abstract : Considering an individual’s day-to-day variability of activity-travel patterns will provide a more complete description of how an individual behaves to adapt the changing constraints and resources on different days. Without this day-to-day variability understanding, the individual’s behaviour would not be fully grasped and any suggested policy, planning and development would not completely achieve their desired objectives.
