6. Value co-creating processes in international business relationships : three empirical studies of cooperation between Chinese customers and Swedish suppliers
Abstract : This thesis focuses on value co-creating processes in international business relationships, where customers and suppliers have different frames of reference that create a distance, often expressed in terms of uncertainty between the customer and the supplier. This tension between developing cooperative business relationships in order to co-create value versus handling uncertainty, misunderstandings and conflicts based on perceived distance, makes an interesting arena for exploring how the value co creating process is formed in international business relationships. 7. Biomass Gasification-Based Biorefineries in Pulp and Paper Mills – Greenhouse Gas Emission Implications and Economic Performance
Abstract : The pulp and paper industry has a great opportunity to take advantage of the experience about forestry and wood handling for production of renewable fuels, chemicals and materials. Residues from forestry, i.e., tops, branches and stubs, have great potential to become a raw material that can replace crude oil or natural gas in many applications. READ MORE

8. Energy system evaluation of thermo-chemical biofuel production : Process development by integration of power cycles and sustainable electricity
Abstract : Fossil fuels dominate the world energy supply today and the transport sector is no exception. Renewable alternatives must therefore be introduced to replace fossil fuels and their emissions, without sacrificing our standard of living. READ MORE

9. Wood Fuel Pellets: Sawdust Drying in the Energy System
Abstract : In 2004, the amount of wood fuel pellets used in Sweden was 1 256 000 tons, it was mostly used in large scale burning for district heating. Over the last 10 years, a significant increase in pellet production has occurred and today the preferred raw materials for pellet production, i.e., dry sawdust and wood shavings, are insufficient. 10. District Heating Sensitivity to Heat Demand Reductions and Electricity Market Dynamics
Abstract : Sweden and the rest of the EU member states have to reduce primary energy use andemissions of CO2, and increase the use of renewable energy sources according to the EUclimate change package “20-20-20”. To do this, the energy systems need to use less fossilfuel and to utilise energy resources more efficiently. READ MORE
