  1. 1. Advancing Automation in Digital Forensic Investigations

    Author : Irvin Homem; Panagiotis Papapetrou; Fredrik Blix; Indre Žliobaitė; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Digital Forensics; Machine Learning; Computer Forensics; Network Forensics; Predictive Modelling; Distributed Systems; Mobile Devices; Mobile Forensics; Memory Forensics; Android; Semantic Web; Hypervisors; Virtualization; Remote Acquisition; Evidence Analysis; Correlation; P2P; Bittorrent; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Abstract : Digital Forensics is used to aid traditional preventive security mechanisms when they fail to curtail sophisticated and stealthy cybercrime events. The Digital Forensic Investigation process is largely manual in nature, or at best quasi-automated, requiring a highly skilled labour force and involving a sizeable time investment. READ MORE

  2. 2. Reliable Information Exchange in IIoT : Investigation into the Role of Data and Data-Driven Modelling

    Author : Mehrzad Lavassani; Tingting Zhang; Mikael Gidlund; Ulf Jennehag; Christer Åhlund; Mittuniversitetet; []

    Abstract : The concept of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is the tangible building block for the realisation of the fourth industrial revolution. It should improve productivity, efficiency and reliability of industrial automation systems, leading to revenue growth in industrial scenarios. READ MORE

    Abstract : A challenge for the clinical management of Parkinson's disease (PD) is the large within- and between-patient variability in symptom profiles as well as the emergence of motor complications which represent a significant source of disability in patients. This thesis deals with the development and evaluation of methods and systems for supporting the management of PD by using repeated measures, consisting of subjective assessments of symptoms and objective assessments of motor function through fine motor tests (spirography and tapping), collected by means of a telemetry touch screen device. 4. 4. Modelling and Analysis of Probabilistic Networks

    Author : Amin Kaveh; Matteo Magnani; Christian Rohner; Aristides Gionis; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Probabilistic Networks; Local Measures; Modelling; Clustering; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : As empirical data collection and inference is often an imperfect process, and many systems can be represented as networks, it is important to develop modelling and analysis methods for imperfect network data. The main focus of this dissertation is the probabilistic network model G = (V, E, p) in which each edge is associated with an independent existence probability. READ MORE

  5. 5. Data-driven decision support in digital retailing

    Author : Dirar Sweidan; Ulf Johansson; Beatrice Alenljung; Anders Gidenstam; Högskolan i Skövde; []
