    Abstract : This dissertation argues that lower-level military leaders, commanding between a dozen and a few hundred troops, can have a major political and strategic impact.     Abstract : The retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) is of great importance in photoreceptor homeostasis. The photoreceptors are highly specialized cells which cannot survive without the RPE.
