  1. 1. Fragmentation in Proton-Nucleus Reactions from 100 to 1400 MeV

    Author : Henrik Jäderström; Lars Wesretberg; Yuri Murin; Kjell Aleklett; Haik Simon; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : Nuclear physics; proton; deuteron; 20Ne; 28Si; Xe; nuclear reactions; inverse kinematics; recoils; intermediate mass fragments; angular distribution; DCM model; JQMD model; CFEM model; single event upset; Kärnfysik;

    Abstract : The heaviest fragments, recoils, have been studied in proton and deuteron induced 28Si reactions and proton-20Ne reactions at 100-300 MeV per nucleon. Inclusive charge and angular distributions and coincidences between He nuclei and recoils have been compared to two theoretical models, Dubna Cascade Model and JAERI Quantum Molecular Dynamics. 2. 2. Demand-Supply Chain Management

    Author : Per Hilletofth; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Demand-supply chain management DSCM ; Elements; Benefits; Requirements; Demand chain management DCM ; Supply chain management SCM ; Sweden; Engineering and Technology; Teknik och teknologier; Production Engineering; Human Work Science and Ergonomics; Produktionsteknik; arbetsvetenskap och ergonomi; Teknik;

    Abstract : Purpose: This research aims to enhance the current understanding and knowledge of the demand-supply chain management (DSCM) concept by determining its elements, benefits, and requirements, as well as by analyzing key elements of the concept. Methodology: This research has utilized the case study strategy and the survey strategy, however, the case study strategy dominates. READ MORE

  3. 3. Urban stormwater systems in future climates : assessment and management of hydraulic overloading

    Author : Karolina Berggren; Adrian Saul; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; VA-teknik; Urban Water Engineering;

    Abstract : Increasing global temperatures and tendencies of more frequent extreme weather events have been observed over the recent decades, and the continuation of this trend is predicted by future climate models. Such climatic changes impact on many human activities and hence the interest in, and focus on, climate change has increased rapidly in recent years. READ MORE

  4. 4. Treatment in Dilated Cardiomyopathy : with special emphasis on beta-adrenergic receptor blockade and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibition

    Author : Kjell Jansson; Rolf Nordlander; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Abstract : Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a heart muscle disease of unknown origin, characterised by ventricular dilatation and impairment of systolic function. The basic treattnent is medical, according to different pharmacological principles. Evaluation of the severity of the disease and the effects of medication are important for optimal management. 5. 5. T cell Function in Patients with Dilated Cardiomyopathy

    Author : Erika Lindberg; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : cardiomyopathy; lymphocytes; cytokines; autoimmunity; infection;

    Abstract : Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a heart muscle disease characterized by dilatation of one or both ventricles together with decreased systolic function. Its etiology is still largely unknown. READ MORE
