  1. 11. Measurement of azimuthal asymmetries in the hadronic final-state of deep inelastic scattering at HERA

    Author : Magnus Lindström; Partikel- och kärnfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; jets; DIS; azimuthal asymmetries; structure function; unfold; quantum field theory; Elementary particle physics; Elementarpartikelfysik; kvantfältteori; Physics; Fysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2000:Lindström;

    Abstract : Azimuthal asymmetries of the hadronic final state in deep inelastic scattering at HERA provide the opportunity to study the helicity of the interacting particles. We present a theoretical overview of the origin of these effects up to leading order in the strong coupling constant, $alpha_s$. READ MORE

  3. 13. (Dis)engaging in moving-body practices : physical activity correlates among university students in Mexico

    Author : Vanessa Garcia Gonzalez; Ema Cláudia Ribeiro Pires; Bengt Richt; Sam Willner; Ángel Ramon Zapata Moya; Rosalina Maria Pisco Costa; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Physical activity; correlates; university students; moving-body practices; Mexico;

    Abstract : The aim of this study was to gather in-depth data to provide insights into individual, social and environmental correlates of physical activity in order to identify priority elements to design feasible and effective intervention strategies to promote regular physical activity engagement among university students in a middle-income country such as Mexico. The situation of university students (dis)engaging in moving-body practices was explored through the use of a survey based on the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire and the construction of Moving-body diaries that included visual and verbal narratives. 4. 14. Being who one wants : constructing participation within discourses of (dis)ability

    Author : Eric Svanelöv; Jonas Stier; Lena Talman; Eva Flygare Wallén; Per Enarsson; Lennart Sauer; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; participation; able-mindedness; power; intellectual disability; margins; group homes; daily activity services; disability sports; socialt arbete; Social Work;

    Abstract : Background: Society is full of norms categorising and labelling people on the basis of abilities, traits, and appearance. People who deviate from normative ideals are subjected to practices of able-mindedness that can stigmatise and marginalise norm-breaking functionality and invoke intellectual disability labels. 5. 15. An Inexplicable Hunger – flutist)body(flute (dis)encounters

    Author : Marina Cyrino; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; flute practices; flutist; performance; composition; improvisation; artistic research; musicianship; standardisation; specialisation; fragmentation; co-creation; collaborative processes; encounters; mixture; mixed practices; multimodal practices; metamorphosis; transdisciplinarity; transversality; flexible subjectivity; processual subjectivity; politics of subjectivation; otherness; othering; resonant body;

    Abstract : This doctoral research is structured by singular encounters, that happened between 2014 and 2018. Together with a series of collaborators, I have developed a critical and poetic methodology through what I call “mixture”, “contamination” and the practice of “un-goaling”, in which my “flutist-body-flute” relation encounters the practices of other artists.
