  1. 1. Designing Human-Centered Hybrid Decision Support Systems

    Author : Lu Cao; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Decision support system; Decision making; Decision-making; Hybrid system; Human–machine hybrid; Human-centered; Human-centered AI; Design science research; Action design research; Design principle; Multi-grounded theory;

    Abstract : Innovative decision support systems (DSSs) are revolutionizing key processes in organizations. These systems are used in managerial decision-making to solve increasingly complicated decision tasks, for example, using artificial intelligence. READ MORE

  2. 2. Methods, design and development of clinical decision support systems based on the Arden syntax : with applications in the clinical laboratory

    Author : Bo Johansson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Abstract : Decision Support Systems (DSSs) are computer systems that permit explicit representation of knowledge and can execute a computer program that uses the knowledge to assist in the decision process. A clinical DSS uses both clinical data and medical knowledge to help health professionals make clinical decisions. READ MORE

  3. 3. Phase separation in duplex stainless steel: characterization and mitigation

    Author : Jianling Liu; Peter Hedström; Joakim Odqvist; Wangzhong Mu; Aniruddha Biswas; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; duplex stainless steel; 475 °C embrittlement; phase separation; small-angle neutron scattering; mechanical properties; alloying elements; cooling rate; magnetic field; Materials Science and Engineering; Teknisk materialvetenskap;

    Abstract : Duplex stainless steel (DSS) is a category of widely used stainlesssteel, which are strategically important in a variety of applications such asin the food industry, chemical engineering plants and nuclear power plants,due to their attractive combination of mechanical properties and corrosionresistance. However, these steel grades are sensitive to the so-called ‘475°Cembrittlement’, because of a phase separation (PS) phenomenon in theferrite phase, which decomposes into Fe-rich ferrite (α) and Cr-rich ferrite(α'), when exposed to temperatures within the miscibility gap. 4. 4. Realizing medical decision support systems using the Arden Syntax as knowledge representation

    Author : Gao Xiao-Ming; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Abstract : Computer technology has become an important part of many aspects of modern life, and the role of computers in health care will undoubtedly increase in the future. One of the most popular fields in medical informatics involves decision support systems (DSSs), which focus on providing the decision maker with accurate data, factual medical knowledge and problem-solving support. 5. 5. Experimental study of phase separation in Fe-Cr based alloys

    Author : Jing Zhou; John Ågren; Joakim Odqvist; Peter Hedström; Andersson Marcus; KTH; []
    Keywords : Duplex stainless steels; Ferritic stainless steels; Spinodal decomposition; Phase separation; Atom probe tomography; Clustering; Radial distribution function RDF ;

    Abstract : Duplex stainless steels (DSSs) are important engineering materials due to their combination of good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. However, as a consequence of their ferrite content, DSSs are sensitive to the so-called ‘475°C embrittlement’, which is induced by phase separation, namely, the ferrite decomposed into Fe-rich ferrite (α) and Cr-rich ferrite (α'), respectively.
