  1. 1. Dipolar recoupling sequences in 13C and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance studies of mineral surfaces

    Author : Dan Sandström; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Abstract : Solid state magic angle spinning (MAS) 31P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments, both cross polarization (CP) and dipole-dipole recoupling, were used as tools in the investigation of the reaction products at the surface of synthetic galena (PbS) mineral and O,O'-dialkyldithiophosphate potassium salts. Various dipole-dipole recoupling sequences have been tested on powder glycine-13C2 NMR and a polycrystalline powder sample of O,O'-diethyldithiophosphate2-Ni(II) to find one or several sequences suitable for the surface experiments. 2. 2. Solid state nuclear magnetic resonance studies of synthetic mineral surfaces

    Author : Dan Sandström; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Abstract : Solid state 1H, 31P and 27Al Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) was used in studies of surface species formed on a synthetic fluorapatite in aqueous suspensions at different pH with or without ions or ion complexes of iron or aluminium in the suspension. Different sites related to the PO43- ions at the mineral surface were suggested, POx, POxH and POxH2. READ MORE

    Author : Malin Sandström; Dan Boström; Anders Nordin; Bo Björkman; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; calcium potassium phosphates; structural studies; Gibbs standard energy of formation; EMF measurements; biomass; combustion; chemical equilibrium model calculations; Inorganic chemistry; Oorganisk kemi;

    Abstract : Fosfaters reaktioner i energiomvandlingsprocesser är kritisk för den generella processen som helhet, för askrelaterade problem, emissioner liksom för en effektiv och hållbar användning av askan.Denna avhandling är en sammanställning och diskussion med utgångspunkt i åtta artiklar som behandlar strukturella och termodynamiska studier på faser i CaO-K2O-P2O5-systemet, vilka är av relevans inom förbränning av biomassa.
