16. Robust Control of an Induction Motor Drive
Abstract : This thesis considers robust control of an induction motor drive, consisting of an input filter, a voltage source inverter and one or several induction motors in parallel. The motor torque is here controlled by using the method Indirect Self Control (ISC), and power oscillations between the inverter and the input filter are damped by means of a stabilization controller in an outer feedback loop. 17. Multilevel Inverter for Wave Power Conversion
Abstract : This thesis deals with the electrical system analysis of a Wave Energy Converter (WEC) for the objective of grid connection. The Linear Permanent Magnet Generator (LPMG) is modeled and validated with experimental results. The comparison studies establish that this model is useful for the subsequent system modeling and performance analysis. READ MORE

18. Converter Interfaced Distributed Generation - Grid Interconnection Issues
Abstract : Distributed generation (DG) with a converter interface to the grid is found in many of the green power resources applications. In this thesis, the control of a voltage source converter (VSC), as the DG front end, is in focus regarding the power quality problems that could appear at the connection point. READ MORE

20. The control of VSC-HVDC and its use for large industrial power systems
Abstract : With the recent developments in semiconductors and control equipment, Voltage Source Converter based High Voltage direct Current (VSC-HVDC) has become feasible. Due to the use of VSC technology and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), it has a number of potential advantages: short circuit current reduction; rapid, independent control of the active and reactive power, etc. READ MORE
