6. Dosimetry of Local Radio Frequency Exposure
Abstract : Finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) is a popularcomputational electrodynamics modelling technique. It has been widelyused, from radar cross section computations through electromagneticcompatibility investigations to modelling of electromagnetic exposurein biological tissues. READ MORE

7. Fast neutron dosimetry : a study of basic dosimetric properties of fast-neutrons for external beam radiotherapy and problems associated with corrections of measured charged particle cross-sections
Abstract : Basic dosimetric properties of fast-neutron beams with energies ≤80 MeV were explored using Monte Carlo techniques. Elementary pencil-beam dose distributions taking into account transport of all relevant types of released charged particles (protons, deuterons, tritons, 3He and a particles) were calculated and used to derive several absorbed dose distributions. 8. Pharmacokinetics and dosimetry in intraperitoneal radioimmunotherapy with 211At
Abstract : The prognosis for patients diagnosed with disseminated cancer is often poor. Radioimmunotherapy (RIT) is a new approach to treat disseminated disease. The aim is to target tumor cells with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) labeled with radionuclides which release cytotoxic particle radiation upon decay. The radionuclide 211At, with half-life 7. 9. Model-based Approaches to Diffuse Optical Imaging and Dosimetry
Abstract : The work within this thesis investigates Photodynamic therapy and Fluorescence imaging for therapeutics and visualization of deeply embedded lesions. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a cancer treatment modality that can eradicate tumors when light, a photosensible drug and oxygen are present. READ MORE

10. Therapy with 177Lu-octreotate - pharmacokinetics, dosimetry and kidney toxicity
Abstract : 177Lu-octreotate is used for treatment of patients with somatostatin receptor expressing neuroendocrine tumors in some clinics using a standard schedule. Renal and bone marrow toxicity are the main limiting factors. READ MORE
