1. Dusty plasma response to a moivng test charge
Abstract : This licentiate thesis reports analytical results for the electrostatic response to a test charge moving through dusty plasma. Two particular cases for a slowly moving test charge, namely, grain size distribution and grain charging dynamics are considered. READ MORE

2. Test Charge Response of a Dusty Plasma with Grain Size Distribution and Charging Dynamics
Abstract : This doctoral thesis reports analytical and numerical results for the electrostatic response of a dusty plasma to a moving test charge. Two important physical aspects of dusty plasmas, namely grain size distribution and grain charging dynamics were taken into account. READ MORE

3. The Klimontovich description of complex plasma systems : Low frequency electrostatic modes, spectral densities of fluctuations and collision integrals
Abstract : Plasmas seeded with solid particulates of nanometer to micron sizes (complex plasma systems) are a ubiquitous feature of intergalactic, interstellar and planetary environments but also of plasma processing applications or even fusion devices. Their novel aspects compared with ideal multi-component plasmas stem from (i) the large number of elementary charges residing on the grain surface, (ii) the variability of the charge over mass ratio of the dust component, (iii) the inherent openness and dissipative nature of such systems. 4. Nonlinear Dust Particle Dynamics and Collective Effects in Complex Plasmas
Abstract : Theoretical studies of dusty plasmas have been performed by focusing attention principally on collective phenomena and on grain motion. This thesis consists of a collection of seven published papers that explore both the collective behavior of a complex plasma system as well as the dynamics of grains in plasmas. READ MORE

5. Waves and instabilities in quantum plasmas
Abstract : The study of waves and instabilities in quantum plasmas is of fundamental importance for understanding collective interactions in superdense astrophysical objects, in high intense laser-plasma/solid-matter interactions, in microelectronic devices and metallic nanostructures. In dense quantum plasmas, there are new pressure laws associated with the Fermi-Dirac distribution functions and new quantum forces associated with the quantum Bohm potential and the Bohr magnetization involving electron ½ spin.
