  1. 1. Modelling of induction heat treatment in a manufacturing chain

    Author : Martin Fisk; Jesper Hattel; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Material Mechanics; Materialmekanik;

    Abstract : Due to increased competitiveness in the aerospace industry, deeper knowledge of the manufacturing process is needed. It is, for example, known that the microstructure is important for the performance of the components. READ MORE

  2. 2. Society Inhaled. Social Epidemiology of COPD

    Author : Sten Axelsson Fisk; Socialepidemiologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Social Epidemiology; Social Medicine; Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD ; Intersectionality; Smoking : epidemiology; Social determinants of health;

    Abstract : Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common disease that in its advanced stages is a life-limiting condition and a leading cause of death globally. This thesis aims at increasing the understanding of the socioeconomic disparities that exist both for COPD and its major risk factor, tobacco smoking. READ MORE

  3. 3. Effect of elevated pCO2 and environmental oxazepam on the behavior and physiology of teleost fish

    Author : Laura E. Vossen; Svante Winberg; Robert Gerlai; Uppsala universitet; []

  5. 5. Effects of octylphenol on sexual development and reproduction in zebrafish

    Author : Shaima A. M. Mahgiubi; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; []
    Keywords : LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Anthropogenic chemicals released into the aquatic environment can disrupt the normal function(s) of an organism's endocrine system and thereby adversely affect reproduction and development. This has led to the development of robust fish tests to detect and assess endocrine active chemicals. READ MORE
