6. Capillary electrophoresis mass spectrometry applied to structural proteomics and small molecule analysis
Abstract : Capillary electrophoresis with mass spectrometric (CE–MS) detection offers a separation method without equal in terms of flexibility, utility, and cost efficiency. Here we demonstrate precisely this through the application of several laboratory-built CE–MS instruments for the separation of brain metabolites in non-primates, enantioselective separations of synthetic anesthetic metabolites in fractionated pony urine, application in structural proteomics workflows, and identification of exogenous alkaloid biotransformationproducts in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). 7. Participation, knowledges and experiences : design of IT-systems in e-home health care
Abstract : People working in the home health care sector are seldom consulted when development and implementation of ICT is involved and which effects their work practices. This is surprising given the assumptions of participatory design principles that have in¬fluenced Scandinavian re¬search and design work. READ MORE

9. Receptor tyrosine kinases and circulating tumor cells as new prognostic biomarkers in breast cancer with special focus on TNBC
Abstract : About 8000 Swedish women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and around 1500 die from the disease. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) constitutes 7-14% of all breast cancer and is characterized by an aggressive phenotype with poor prognosis and no targeted therapy available. READ MORE

10. Experimental and Clinical Studies of Oxidative Stress in Pre-Eclampsia
Abstract : Impaired placentation and oxidative stress are proposed to play major roles in the pathogenesis of pre-eclampsia (PE). It has recently been pointed out that PE might be more than one disease and may have several different pathogeneses. READ MORE
