1. Health-related Quality of Life in Head and Neck Cancer. A Five-year Prospective Multicenter Study
Abstract : The aim of this prospective longitudinal multicenter study was to evaluate the health-related quality of life (HRQL) in patients with head and neck cancer at diagnosis, after one and five years in relation to tumour location, stage, sub site, treatment modality, gender and age. The first part of the study, lasting for one year, consisted of 357 patients (mean age 63 years; 72% males) that were included between 1993 and 1995. READ MORE

4. Long term health-related quality of life among women with high-risk breast cancer receiving adjuvant high-dose chemotherapy : a comparison with the normal population
Abstract : The aims of the thesis were 1) to provide reference values for the EORTC QLQ-C30 in the general Swedish population, 2) to investigate effects of adjuvant high-dose treatment on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among high-risk breast cancer patients during and after treatment and 3) to investigate differences in HRQoL between the patients and women of corresponding age in the general population.
