16. Adapting Experimental and Monitoring Methods for Continuous Processes under Feedback Control : Challenges, Examples, and Tools
Abstract : Continuous production covers a significant part of today’s industrial manufacturing. Consumer goods purchased on a frequent basis, such as food, drugs, and cosmetics, and capital goods such as iron, chemicals, oil, and ore come through continuous processes. READ MORE

19. Extension of PC-SAFT to model inhomogeneous and transport properties
Abstract : CO2 separation plays an important role in greenhouse gas emission mitigation, in bio-fuel production via biomass gasification as well as in biogas upgrading. The current CO2 separation technologies are energy intensive, and new cost-effective CO2 separation technologies are needed. READ MORE

20. Sterically stabilised liposomes and related lipid aggregates : Fundamental studies on aggragate structure and stability
Abstract : Various aspects of and approaches towards the steric stabilisation of liposomes have been investigated, mainly by use of fluorescence techniques and cryo-transmission electron microscopy (cryo-TEM). It is shown that PEG(2000)-lipids can be incorporated in the liposome membrane up to a critical concentration of 8-10 mol% without any observable structural perturbations. READ MORE
