11. Experience feedback in industrialised house-building : The impact of production strategies
Abstract : Construction companies need to develop processes for experience feedback (EF) and knowledge-sharing in order to improve their performance over time. Industrialised house-building offers strategies for combating problems typical to project-based organisations such as adopting a more product- and process-oriented approach as well as different production strategies. 12. Balancing Demand and Supply in Complex Manufacturing Operations: Tactical-Level Planning Processes
Abstract : By balancing medium-term demand and supply, tactical planning enables manufacturing firms to realize strategic, long-term business objectives. However, such balancing in engineer-to-order (ETO) and configured-to-order (CTO) operations, due to the constant pressure of substantial complexity (e.g. READ MORE

14. Wear and Fixation of the acetabular component : in vivo evaluation of different polyethylenes and modes of fixation in total hip arthroplasty
Abstract : Polyethylene wear and micromotion of the implant play an important role in multifactorial etiology of osteolysis leading to aseptic loosening of the acetabular components. Despite excellent results in primary total hip arthoplasty in a 10-15 year perspective there are still unsolved problems. READ MORE

15. New polymer materials in total hip arthroplasty. Evaluation with radiostereometry, bone densitometry, radiography and clinical parameters
Abstract : Aims: To evaluate the outcome of different types of polyethylene, bone cements and one design of uncemented fixation with porous and ceramic coating using radiostereometry, bone densitometry, conventional radiography and clinical parameters.Materials and methods: Study 1: 201 patients were extracted from 5 prospective randomised studies to evaluate femoral head penetration at two years with radiostereometry in four basic designs, cemented Lubinus and Reflection cups, uncemented Trilogy and Reflection cups.
