1. Electron beam sizes and lifetimes at MAX II and MAX III
Abstract : The MAX II and MAX III synchrotron light sources at MAX-lab provide synchrotron radiation for experiments in a wide variety of research fields. The synchrotron radiation is emitted by ultra-relativistic electrons circulating in electron storage rings. READ MORE

2. Electron beam profile measurements and emittance manipulation at the MAX-laboratory
Abstract : The emittances of the electron beams at the MAX-laboratory accelerator system have been studied. Apart from the build-up of the diagnostic tools for precise determination of the beam spatial profiles, the objectives have been: a) to verify the accelerator design emittances at low currents and to try to determine the emittances also at high currents; b) to investigate possibilities to manipulate the emittances. 3. Beam Diagnostics and Dynamics in Nonlinear Fields
Abstract : Particle accelerators are indispensable tools for probing matter at the smallest scales and the improvements of such tools depend on the progress and understanding of accelerator physics. The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a proposed, linear electron–positron collider on the TeV-scale, based at CERN. READ MORE

4. Accelerator physics studies of the MAX-lab storage rings
Abstract : Within research, synchrotron radiation is a highly useful probe for the study of materials, their properties and structures. Currently, no other radiation source allows the combination of high intensity and short wavelengths. READ MORE

5. Emittance and Energy Diagnostics for Electron Beams with Large Momentum Spread
Abstract : Following the discovery of the Higgs-like boson at the Large Hadron Collider, there is demand for precision measurements on recent findings. The Compact Linear Collider, CLIC, is a candidate for a future linear electron-positron collider for such precision measurements. READ MORE
