  1. 1. Noise Handling For Improving Machine Learning-Based Test Case Selection

    Author : Khaled Al-Sabbagh; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Test Case Selection; Continuous Integration; Machine Learning; Textual Analysis;

    Abstract : Background: Continuous integration is a modern software engineering practice that promotes rapid integration and testing of code changes as soon as they get committed to the project repository. One challenge in adopting this practice lies in the long time required for executing all available test cases to perform regression testing. READ MORE

  2. 2. Aiming at malaria elimination in Zanzibar

    Author : Delér Shakely; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Following the increase of the international funding for implementation of the combined malaria control strategies in the past decade, a significant reduction of malaria attributed morbidity and mortality has been achieved. Yet, malaria is still a severe threat to global health. READ MORE

  3. 3. Identification of the common eliminated region (CER1) by the microcell hybrid based 'elimination test'

    Author : Ying Yang; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : Elimination test; common eliminated region 1 CER1 ; 3p21.3; microcell hybrids; tumor suppressor gene; LF lactoferrin ; LIMD1 LIM-domain containing gene 1 ; sequencing; MMCT microcell mediated chromosome transfer ; real time PM methylation;

    Abstract : The aim of elimination test (Et) is to identify tumor antagonizing genes from chromosome regions that are regularly deleted in microcell hybrid (MCH) derived tumors through serial SCID mice passages. Et so far was focused on the short arm of human chromosome 3 (chr 3) due to its frequent deletions in 21 tumor types including renal cell carcinoma (RCC), small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and breast cancer (BRC). 4. 4. A microcell hybrid based 'elimination test' in the search for malignancy related genes

    Author : Stephan Imreh; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This thesis is focused on the elimination test developed by us (Imreh et al, 1994). The elimination test was designed as a functional test for malignancy related gene identification. Its task is to follow the cytogenetic and molecular alterations on single normal chromosomes transferred into tumor cells. READ MORE

  5. 5. Characterization of a putative tumor suppressor region identified by the elimination test on human 3p21.3

    Author : Hajnalka Kiss; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : Elimination test; common eliminated region 1 CER1 ; 3p21.3; tumor suppressor gene; large scale sequencing; LIMD1; LZTFL1; FYC01; TMEM7; LRRC2; LUZP3.;

    Abstract : An experimental system, called the elimination test (Et), was developed to identify tumor growth antagonizing genes. Chromosome 3 containing microcell hybrids (MCHs) were passaged through SCID mice and regular deletion of the short arm of chromosome 3 (3p) were found by cytogenetic and molecular methods. READ MORE
