  1. 1. Degrees in Random Graphs and Tournament Limits

    Author : Erik Thörnblad; Svante Janson; Erik Broman; Daniel Kráľ; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Random graphs; degree distributions; degree sequences; graph limits; tournaments; Mathematics; Matematik;

    Abstract : This thesis consists of an introduction and six papers on the topics of degree distributions in random graphs and tournaments and their limits.The first two papers deal with a dynamic random graph, evolving in time through duplication and deletion of vertices and edges. In Paper I we study the degree densities of this model. READ MORE

    Abstract : Sleep is essential for survival but a significant minority of the adult population are dissatisfied with their sleep, and 6-10% meet the criteria for insomnia disorder, characterised by difficulties falling asleep at bedtime, waking up in the middle of the night or too early in the morning, and daytime symptoms. Cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), an evidence-based sleep-focused intervention, has been suggested as the treatment of choice for chronic insomnia. READ MORE

  5. 5. The individual human side of supporting sustainable design beginners

    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : Starting to include sustainability considerations in a design project is a transition requiring a change in how things are done, that is, a change in behaviour. Furthermore, this transition takes place in the midst of the usual pressures of product design. READ MORE
