  2. 2. Myocardial Perfusion and Function: Comparative assessment by ECG, SPECT and MRI

    Author : Eva Persson; Lund Klinisk fysiologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; tomografi; medicinsk instrumentering; Physiology; radiologi; radiology; tomography; medical instrumentation; Klinisk fysiologi; Clinical physics; ST-segment deviation ; myocardial ischemia ; myocardial perfusion ; MRI; CMR; MPS; ECG; SPECT; Fysiologi; Cardiovascular system; myocardial function ; Kardiovaskulära systemet;

    Abstract : Evaluation of myocardial perfusion and function is important in management of patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease. This thesis focuses on the use of common diagnostic methods, myocardial perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography (MPS) and electrocardiography (ECG), to enhance and validate the diagnostic information. 3. 3. Parents' postnatal sense of security (PPSS) developing an instrument and description of important factors based on mothers' and fathers' experiences

    Author : Eva-Kristina Persson; Institutionen för hälsovetenskaper; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Mother Father Parent Postnatal Security;

    Abstract : Background: Postnatal sense of security, for parents, the first week after childbirth is important for their own and their baby’s wellbeing. Variables influencing the mother’s, and particularly the father’s, sense of security during the first postnatal week are not well known. READ MORE

  4. 4. PARENTS’ POSTNATAL SENSE OF SECURITY (PPSS)- developing an instrument and description of important factors based on mothers’ and fathers’ experiences

    Author : Eva-Kristina Persson; Institutionen för hälsovetenskaper; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Evaluation; Instrument development; parents; participation; postnatal; PPSS; validity; sense of security;

    Abstract : The overall aim of this thesis was to develop and evaluate a specific instrument, measuring both mothers’ and fathers’ postnatal sense of security during the first postnatal week, and to explore and describe important factors associated with this. Data was collected from 2003 to 2009. READ MORE

  5. 5. On the Origin and Distributions of the Inclusions in Production-scale ESR and PESR Remelted Ingots and Materials from Different Ingot Sizes and Solidification Structures

    Author : Eva Sjöqvist Persson; Pär Jönsson; Torbjörn Carlberg; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Materials Science and Engineering; Teknisk materialvetenskap;

    Abstract : The study was carried out with the aim to evaluate the origin, morphology, and distribution of the non-metallic inclusions (NMI) in electro-slag remelted (ESR) steels and in electro-slag remelted steels using a pressured controlled inert atmosphere (PESR). In addition to the NMI studies, the solidification structure in different ingot sizes were studied in order to define the influence of the solidification on the NMI characteristics. READ MORE
