16. Impacts of Thermo–Physical Properties on the Design, Operation, and Cost of Monoethanolamine–Based Chemical Absorption
Abstract : The thermodynamic and transport properties of CO2 mixtures are essential to the design, operation, and optimization of all carbon capture and storage processes. To retrieve accurate property values, accurate property models are required. However, there are many properties, which are in turn affected by many factors. READ MORE

17. Rapid measurements of the moisture content in biofuel
Abstract : An increasing number of power plants in Scandinavia are beginning to use biofuel instead of coal or oil. The material in the new fuel is a mixture of woodchips, mostly Pine, Spruce and Salix, bark, GROT (tops and branches from felling waste) and sawdust from sawmills. It is heterogeneous, having a moisture content varying from 15% up to 65%. READ MORE

18. Co-digestion of microalgae and sewage sludge - A feasibility study for municipal wastewater treatment plants
Abstract : The increased emissions of anthropogenic greenhouse gases over the last 100 years is the reason for the acceleration in the greenhouse effect, which has led to an increase of the globally averaged combined land and ocean surface temperature of 0.85 °C between 1880 and 2012. READ MORE

19. Enhanced biogas production from municipal WWTPs : Co-digestion of microalgae with sewage sludge and thermophilic secondary digestion of mesophilic digested sludge
Abstract : Biogas is produced when organic material is broken down in oxygen-free (anaerobic) conditions. This process is called anaerobic digestion and is used in most large and medium-sized municipal wastewater treatment plants in Sweden. READ MORE

20. Integration of thermochemical processes with existing waste management industries to enhance biomethane production
Abstract : In most waste management industries, waste is separated into different fractions, each of which is treated with suitable processes. Established technologies such as waste combustion for combined heat and power (CHP) production and biomethane production through anaerobic digestion (AD) of biodegradable waste work fine as standalone processes.
