6. Assessment of 3D movements in the lumbar and cervical spine with a new CT based method
Abstract : Background: Numerous methods for measuring segmental motion in spine have been described. However, because of the inaccessibility of the spine and the complexity of segmental movements, most of the noninvasive methods in use today have low accuracy or are unable to detect movements in all three cardinal axes. 7. Dynamics of a Droplet that Assists III-V Nanowire Growth
Abstract : Control of the process of crystal growth has for decades been achieved by addressing the growth temperature and material supply of the growth species. Directional control of both crystal growth and etching has, for example, been achieved by utilizing a liquid droplet to assist the process. READ MORE

10. Advances in vortical flow prediction methods for design of delta-winged aircraft
Abstract : This thesis covers the field of vortex-flow dominated external aerodynamics. As part of the contribution to the AVT-113 task group it was possible to prove the feasibility of high Reynolds number CFD computations to resolve and thus better understand the peculiar dual vortex system encountered on the VFE-2 blunt leading edge delta wing at low to moderate incidences.
