  1. 11. Timing Diagnostics and Coherent Harmonics from a test-FEL

    Author : Nino Cutic; Lunds universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Free electron laser; undulator radiation; coherent harmonic generation; circular polariyation; vacuum ultra-violet; seed pulse timing; bunch length; electro-optical spectral decoding;

    Abstract : The test free-electron laser (test-FEL) at MAX-lab in Lund demonstrated for the first time circularly polarized coherent femtosecond pulses at 66 nm wavelength. A 375 MeV electron bunch was seeded by a femtosecond laser at 263 nm and coherent harmonics were extracted in an APPLE-II type elliptical undulator. READ MORE

  2. 12. Molecular characterisation of major allergens from mite (Lep d 2) and cat (Fel d 1)

    Author : Liselotte Kaiser; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : Allergens allergy; cat; mite; immunotherapy; recombinant allergens.;

    Abstract : The prevalence of allergic disease has increased significantly during the last decades and today more than 30% of the Swedish population is affected. By using recombinant allergens, diagnostics and treatment can be improved and the mechanisms of allergic reactions may be further explored. READ MORE

  3. 13. Data-driven Methods for Spoken Dialogue Systems : Applications in Language Understanding, Turn-taking, Error Detection, and Knowledge Acquisition

    Author : Raveesh Meena; Gabriel Skantze; Joakim Gustafson; Helen Hastie; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Language Understanding; Turn-taking; Error Detection; Knowledge Acquisition; Crowdsourcing; semantisk tolkning talspråk; turtagning i dialogsystem; fel och missförstånd; crowdsourcing; dialogsystem; Tal- och musikkommunikation; Speech and Music Communication;

    Abstract : Spoken dialogue systems are application interfaces that enable humans to interact with computers using spoken natural language. A major challenge for these systems is dealing with the ubiquity of variability—in user behavior, in the performance of the various speech and language processing sub-components, and in the dynamics of the task domain. 4. 14. Orsaker till fel i byggandet: en studie om felorsaker, felkonsekvenser, samt hinder för inlärning i byggprojekt

    Author : Per-Erik Josephson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; consequences of defects; causes of defects; organisational behaviour; organisational learning; building project; quality; temporary organisations; defects; costs of defects;

    Abstract : One means of increasing the effectiveness of building is minimisation of the numbers of de-fects and their consequences. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary to have knowledge of why defects occur, of their consequences, and of how to learn from errors. READ MORE
