6. Testicular blood flow : methodological and functional studies in the rat
Abstract : Different methods of measuring testicular blood flow in the rat were compared in an attempt to find an accurate method for measuring physiological testicular blood flow. It was found that both the Xenon- 133 clearance technique and the radioactive microsphere technique probably reflect true physiological blood flow in the testis. READ MORE

7. Ribosomes and subunits from Escherichia coli studied by asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation
Abstract : In this thesis asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (FFF) separations of ribosomes and subunits have been studied. Ribosomal material was prepared from Escherichia coli (E. coli) cells and analyzed by the size separation technique. READ MORE

8. Measuring with pressure sensitive paint in time-varying flows
Abstract : Increasingly tougher legislation on internal combustion engine emissions drives the development towards smaller engines with higher efficiency where an important component is the gas-exchange system and especially the turbocharger. The flow in the gas-exchange system is inherently pulsating and unsteady and the present thesis aims at investigating if and how pressure sensitive paint (PSP) can be used for internal unsteady flows of relevance for engine applications. 9. On Tyre Rotation Modelling and Cooling Flow Measurements
Abstract : With the technological computer advancements, vehicle development is relying more and more on simulations as an alternative to testing. A similar trend follows in aerodynamic development of vehicles where Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) simulations are increasing in complexity and accuracy. READ MORE

10. Visualization of Air Flow, Temperature and Concentration Indoors : Whole-field measuring methods and CFD
Abstract : The thermal indoor climate is a complicated combination of a number of physical variables, all of which strongly affect people’s well-being. The indoor climate not only heavily affects people’s health and life quality, but also their productivity and ability to work efficiently. READ MORE
