6. Fluid Flow Phenomena, Inclusion Characteristics and some Heat Transfer Phenomena during Filling of an Ingot Mmold
Abstract : Clean steel production requires a good understanding of theinclusion characteristics at all stages of the steelmakingprocess. So far there exist little information about theformation and evolution of inclusions during the filling ofingot molds. READ MORE

7. Mathematical and Experimental Study on Filtration of Solid Inclusions from Molten Aluminium and Steel
Abstract : Aluminum and steel have been the most produced metal and alloy, respectively, for many years. Their extensive use in various industries, their fundamental role in our everyday life, and their excellent recycling characteristics are the major driving forces for development of their production towards more sustainable processes. 8. Formation of non-metallic inclusions and the possibility of their removal during ingot casting
Abstract : The present study was carried out to investigate the formation and evolution of non-metallic inclusions during ingot casting. Emphasize have been on understanding the types of inclusions formed and developed through the casting process and on the development of already existing inclusions carried over from the ladle during casting. 9. A Mathematical and Experimental Study of Inclusion Behaviour at a Steel-Slag Interface
Abstract : The aim of this thesis work is to increase the knowledge of inclusion behavior at the steel-slag interface by mathematical modeling and in-situ Confocal Scanning Laser Microscope experiments. Mathematical models based on the equation of motion predicting liquid and solid inclusion behavior was first investigated. READ MORE

10. Fluid inclusion studies of the Laisvall sandstone lead-zinc deposit, Sweden
Abstract : The ore forming environment at Laisvall was characterized by a total salt content of 24 eq. wt-% NaCl with as much as 9 wt-% CaCl2. Its temperature fluctuated between 180°C and 120°C but generally decreased with time. The cementing mineral assemblage was deposited in the general sequence calcite, barite, fluorite, galena, sphalerite. READ MORE
