21. Metal-assisted chemical etching for nanofabrication of hard X-ray zone plates
Abstract : Hard X-ray scanning microscopes, or nanoprobes, make it possible to image samples and probe their chemical, elemental and structural properties at nanoscale resolution. This is enabled by the use of nanofocusing optics. Commonly used optics in nanoprobes for high resolution X-ray experiments are zone plates. READ MORE

22. Centrifugal microfluidics-based point of care diagnostics at resource limited settings
Abstract : Advancements in medical diagnostics have allowed us to understand the underlying mechanism and treat the root cause for many diseases which had been causing morbidity and mortality up until this point in human history. Furthermore, many of the standard diagnostic procedures have now been transformed to provide answers at or near the point-of-care. READ MORE

23. The Biophysics of Na+,K+-ATPase in neuronal health and disease
Abstract : Na+,K+-ATPase is one of the most important proteins in the mammalian cell. It creates sodium and potassium gradients which are fundamental for the membrane potential and sodium-dependent secondary active transport. READ MORE

24. Gamma-ray Spectroscopy ofNeutron-rich 111 Mo, 85,87 Ge andSelf-Conjugate 88 Ru Far From Stability
Abstract : The neutron-deficient self-conjugate (N=Z) nucleus 8844 Ru 44 was populatedvia the heavy ion fusion evaporation reaction 54 Fe( 36 Ar, 2n) 88 Ru in an ex-periment performed at the GANIL accelerator laboratory in France. Usingthe AGATA γ-ray spectrometer together with ancillary detectors, promptγ − γ − 2n coincidence and charge particle anticoincidence analysis was per-formed for the low-lying energy spectrum of 88 Ru. 25. Nanolatexes: a versatile toolbox for cellulose modification
Abstract : Cellulosic materials are widely used in our everyday lives, ranging from paperand packaging to biomedical applications. However, in most applications, cellulose must coexist with hydrophobic polymers which can be challenging due to its hydrophilic character. This has encouraged the exploration of chemical and physical modifications of cellulose. READ MORE
