1. Teleoperation and the influence of driving feedback on drivers’ behaviour and experience
Abstract : Automated vehicles (AVs) have been developing at a rapid pace over the past few years. However, many difficulties still remain for achieving full Level-5 AVs. This signifies that AVs still require human operators to intervene or assist, such as taking over control of AVs or selecting their routes. READ MORE

2. Control Design and Performance Analysis of force Reflective Teleoperators - A Passivity Based Approach
Abstract : In this thesis, the problem of controlling a surgical masterand slave system with force reflection is studied. The problemof stiff contacts between the slave and the environment isgiven specific attention. The work has been carried out at KTHbased on an initial cooperation with Karolinska Sjukhuset. READ MORE

3. Force Budget Analysis of Glacier Flow : Ice Dynamical Studies on Storglaciären, Sweden, and Ice Flow Investigations of Outlet Glaciers in Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica
Abstract : This thesis contributes to the understanding of glacier response to climate change by ice dynamical studies on Storglaciären, Sweden, and Bonnevie-Svendsenbreen, Kibergbreen and Plogbreen in Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica. Ice surface velocities, ice geometry and temperature information is fed through a force budget model to calculate ice mass outflux of these glacial systems via three-dimensional stress distributions for a flux-gate. 4. High-Speed Vision and Force Feedback for Motion-Controlled Industrial Manipulators
Abstract : Over the last decades, both force sensors and cameras have emerged as useful sensors for different applications in robotics. This thesis considers a number of dynamic visual tracking and control problems, as well as the integration of these techniques with contact force control. READ MORE

5. Haptic Feedback Control Methods for Steering Systems
Abstract : Haptic feedback from the steering wheel is an important cue that defines the steering feel in the driver-vehicle interaction. The steering feedback response in an electric power assisted steering is primarily dependent on its control strategy. READ MORE
