  1. 1. Holomorphic automorphisms of Danielewski surfaces

    Author : Andreas Lind; Frank Kutzschebauch; Egmont Porten; Frank Wikström; Erik Low; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Danielewski surfaces; holomorphic; automorphisms; Lie groups; Algebra; geometry and mathematical analysis; Algebra; geometri och analys;

    Abstract : In this thesis we define the notion of an overshear on a Danielewskisurface. Next we show that the group generated by the overshears is dense in the component of the identity of the automorphism group. READ MORE

  2. 2. Holomorphic embeddings and applications

    Author : Sam Lodin; Frank Kutzschebauch; Jörgen Boo; Frank Wikström; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Anders´en-Lempert-theory; holomorphic embeddings; Eisenman hyperbolicity; holomorphic group actions; plurisubharmonic extension; analytic polyhedron; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Abstract : In the first part of this thesis we consider the question of the number of equivalenceclasses of holomorphic embeddings of Ck into Cn. We show the existence of holomorphicfamilies of proper holomorphic embeddings of Ck into Cn (0 < k < n−1),such that members of the family are pairwise nonequivalent in a suitable sense. READ MORE

  3. 3. Approximation and Subextension of Negative Plurisubharmonic Functions

    Author : Lisa Hed; Urban Cegrell; Frank Wikström; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Complex Monge-Ampère operator; Approximation; Plurisubharmonic function; Subextension; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Abstract : In this thesis we study approximation of negative plurisubharmonic functions by functions defined on strictly larger domains. We show that, under certain conditions, every function u that is defined on a bounded hyperconvex domain Ω in Cn and has essentially boundary values zero and bounded Monge-Ampère mass, can be approximated by an increasing sequence of functions {uj} that are defined on strictly larger domains, has boundary values zero and bounded Monge-Ampère mass.
