1. Particulate Formation in GDI Engines
Abstract : The need to comply with stringent emission regulations while improving fuel economy and reducing criteria pollutant emissions from transportation presents a major challenge in the design of gasoline Direct Injection (DI) engines because of the adverse effects of ultrafine Particulate Number (PN) emissions on human health and other environmental concerns. With upcoming advances in vehicle electrification, it may be the case that electric vehicles completely replace all current vehicles powered by internal combustion engines ensuring zero emissions. 2. Ultra-High Pressure Spray for Gasoline Direct Injection Engines
Abstract : There is an increasingly urgent need for vehicle manufacturers to reduce emissions from passenger vehicles to protect the environment and comply with increasingly stringent emissions standards such as Euro 6d, which came into force in January 2021, and Euro 7, which will probably come into force around 2025. Current emissions standards limit passenger vehicles' particulate number emissions to at most 6*10^{11} [#/km], making it necessary to find ways of reducing the engine-out particulate emissions of gasoline direct injection engines to meet this requirement. 3. Challenges and Advantages of Stratified Combustion in Gasoline Direct-Injected Engines
Abstract : The modern world is based on an extensive transport network in which passenger vehicles play a major role. Although passenger vehicles have improved significantly in recent decades, they still contribute to the pollution of our environment and global warming. Consequently, new ways of reducing their emissions are needed. READ MORE

4. A Study on Spray-Guided Stratified Charge Systems for Gasoline DI Engines
Abstract : Innovative technologies are required to meet ongoing challenges to reduce the CO2 emissions from passenger cars and their fuel consumption. Such technologies are usually complex and require detailed analyses to deliver efficient, reliable systems. READ MORE

5. Experimental Investigation of ultra-high fuel injection pressure spray for GDI engines
Abstract : Gasoline Direct Injection Engines (GDI) for passenger cars currently use fuel injection systems operating at pressures of up to 350 bar. Injection pressures have increased over time, and there is evidence that particulate emissions could be reduced by raising them further, up to 500 bar. READ MORE
